ACCP will hold the Contributions Academy Forum (aka Forum) from September 27 – 29, 2017 at the William Blair Building in Chicago, Illinois.

Well over 300 corporate citizenship professionals got their start at the ACCP Forum. Forum is widely recognized as the underpinning for a successful career in corporate citizenship. Some of the world’s best brands, such as Bank of America, Capital One, Hasbro, Kellogg Company, PwC, Southwest Airlines and The Coca-Cola Company, have relied on the Forum to prepare new staff to meet the challenges and seize the opportunities of this growing field.

The demand for skilled, business-minded citizenship professionals has never been more pronounced than it is today. Forum graduates come away with an understanding of the breadth of Corporate Citizenship from both a strategic and tactical lens.

“The role and the importance of Corporate Citizenship in corporations has escalated. In most companies, it is viewed as an essential, not just a nice to have," said Mark Shamley, President & CEO of ACCP. “ACCP takes its responsibility to train those new to the field very seriously. The Forum curriculum is assessed and updated annually to make sure graduates leave with the knowledge they need to make an immediate contribution to their team.”

“Corporate citizenship is integral to business. The expectation is that, when done well, initiatives will positively impact society and have value to the business. The need to ensure those coming into the profession have a solid foundation is critical. ACCP has trained hundreds of new practitioners over the past 12 years, laying the foundation for them to become industry leaders,” said Laura Coy, Director of Community Engagement at William Blair. “As a firm, William Blair is committed to forging long-term community partnerships. Hosting the Forum is a natural fit for us. The Forum not only builds knowledge, it allows participants to form relationships that will span their careers.”

Registration for the Forum is now open. You can learn more here.
