City & State Reports’ 2016 Awards Series Honors New York’s Top Corporate Citizens through an Open Nomination Process

 City & State Reports, an affiliate of City & State Magazine, is officially accepting nominations for its annual Corporate Social Responsibility Awards in Banking, Finance & Insurance. The annual event honors top corporate citizens from New York’s dynamic finance sector. Hosted by Keith Mestrich, President and CEO of Amalgamated Bank, the May 23rd breakfast event at New York Law School will also feature a thought leadership panel discussion on social responsibility in the finance industry today.

Past winners of City & State Reports' prestigious CSR Awards include, Danny Meyer, CEO, Union Square Hospitality Group; Patti Harris, CEO, Bloomberg Philanthropies; Larry Silverstein, Chairman, Silverstein Properties; Bill Rudin, CEO, Rudin Management Company; Kathryn Wylde, President and CEO, Partnership for New York City; Ed Skyler, Executive VP for Global Public Affairs, Citi; Tim Armstrong, CEO, AOL; Ken Mehlman, Global Head of Public Affairs at KKR; and Judith Robin, President, The Rockefeller Foundation.

City & State Reports’ corporate social responsibility awards series honors executives across the private, public and government sectors for their work as outstanding corporate citizens. Along with Banking, Finance & Insurance, upcoming 2016 events will spotlight Technology, Telecom & Utilities; Labor, Advocacy & Government; and Health, Hospitals & Pharmaceuticals.

The goal of the awards series is to promote social responsibility and encourage businesses to do well by doing good. To accomplish this, the events highlight the best examples of social responsibility within New York’s corporate community.
