New building platform can help builders achieve energy code compliance, reduce callbacks and liability, and improve HERS® Index.

Green Builder® Media recently launched a new online resource created to help builders design more sustainable, high-performance homes. The content for this first edition was provided by BASF.
Energy efficiency and resource conservation continue to be a hot topic in the building industry. Included on the site are downloadable PDF’s with information on The HP+™ Wall System – an integrated building system that helps builders deliver structures with exceptional control of heat, air and moisture.

A case study about the collaboration with Tim O’Brien® Homes, a Wisconsin builder utilizing BASF’s consultative approach, HP+™ Consultative Solutions, is also available. Builders can use the case study as a demonstration on how builders can evaluate costs and systems on a home to help optimize the value for themselves and their customers—and achieve significantly lower HERS scores.
