The Nepal earthquake has devastated communities and affected countless lives. The Nepal Earthquake Coordination Call at 1:00 p.m. ET on April 29 will provide updated information on response efforts and ways stakeholders can support the recovery process.

WASHINGTON, Apr. 28 /CSRwire/ - The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation Corporate Citizenship Center (CCC) will host a conference call on Wednesday, April 29 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time to discuss relief efforts after the earthquake in Nepal.
Nearly 4,000 people have died and more than 7,000 injured following a 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Nepal on Saturday. News reports suggest this is the worst earthquake to strike Nepal in at least 80 years. The capital city of Katmandu was severely affected, and remote areas near the epicenter are feared to be totally destroyed. Local and international rescue teams are looking for survivors as relief organizations assist people in need.
CCC’s conference call will provide updated information on the humanitarian response to the earthquake. It will focus on coordination efforts on the ground and how the response process will be structured in the days and weeks ahead.
