AccountAbility CEO Sunil Misser was featured in Deutsche Post DHL’s 2013 Corporate Responsibility Report as one of three outside experts providing thought leadership. Mr. Misser outlines the business case and importance for companies to focus on Corporate Responsibility (CR) and stakeholder engagement (SE) in a concise tangible manner.

Mr. Misser notes, “A company that takes on Corporate Responsibility is ideally ‘living’ its corporate values, demonstrating good management practices and establishing a foundation for improved business performance in the future.” He continues, “A growing body of data demonstrates the linkage between effectively implemented CR policies, programs and processes, and improved business performance.”

Including serving as CEO of AccountAbility, Mr. Misser served as Chairman of AccountAbility, and led its Advisory Services arm. Before joining AccountAbility, Mr. Misser was Global Managing Partner of the Sustainability Advisory Business at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). He was Global Strategy Leader for PwC's Assurance and Business Advisory Services, and also the New York Metro leader for the Governance, Risk and Compliance practice. During his career, Mr. Misser has been a strategic business advisor to CEOs and senior executives at Fortune 500 companies and multi-lateral organizations (MLOs). He holds an M.S. in Management from the MIT/Sloan School of Management with a concentration in International Business and Technology. He also has an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Maharaja Sayajirao University in India.
