More than 150 volunteers from UPS gathered at the company’s Supply Chain Solutions facility in Louisville, Ky. today to help UNICEF sort and pack 17,500 cold weather kits that will be sent to Syria to assist child refugees who face a harsh winter in the coming months as a result of the Syrian Conflict. UPS workers also completed a similar operation in New Jersey a week ago. After the kits are packed, the items will be loaded and shipped via ocean freight.
