“Building America's Workforce and A Better World,” CleanEdison is our nation's premier green-collar job training company, and announced its new, job creation initiative today. In honor of Earth Day, the company will offer free online live and recorded webinars about its courses in solar, USGBC (US Green Building Council) LEED exam prep, BPI (Building Performance Institute) certification, commercial energy auditing, IGSHPA/NATE (International Ground Source Heat Pump Assocation/North American Technician Excellence) geothermal and auto-hybrid training technologies.
CleanEdison has the largest open enrollment training program in the nation. Having trained 10,000 students in 49 states, the company is eager to make an even larger impact. With more than 1,000 hours of curriculum available, CleanEdison wants to make learning about its training accessible to all to further jumpstart our clean economy.
“I was inspired by President Clinton during Earth Week at CraigMichaels' Sustainable Operations Summit,” said Avi Yashchin, CEO of CleanEdison. “He said people should not have to pay out of pocket to invest in clean energy. We are not there yet. However, our we would be thrilled to open our online gateway to help people learn for free, removing financial education barriers.”
Starting Monday, April 23rd, the day after Earth Day, CleanEdison will offer free online live and recorded webinars where people interested in getting started in solar, USGBC LEED, BPI, commercial energy auditing, geothermal and auto-hybrid training technologies.
