"Diamonds - The Most Admired Enterprises 2011" distinction

ALUMINIUM S.A. and DELFOI-DISTOMON S.A., MYTILINEOS Group subsidiaries, gained the distinction "Diamonds - The Most Admired Enterprises 2011", by the Information Bank for Economy and Business, STAT BANK.
ALUMINIUM and DELFOI-DISTOMON were both included in the Greek industrial companies that showcase robust development during the current recession, as presented in the annual Business Guide, "Diamonds 2011", published by STAT BANK. The selection was out of a total of 3,500 largest Greek companies based on their turnover and 10 financial indexes, suitable for verifying credibility and healthy growth. The crash-test resulted to a short-list of 110 industrial and 108 commercial companies based on their ranking.
The Business Guide and the distinctions nominated to the companies were announced in an event organised by STAT BANK on June 27.

Regarding EPC projects, the Group has established its presence in the sector through its METKA subsidiary which has developed into the leading EPC Company (Engineering-Procurement-Construction) in Greece and is acknowledged as one of the most specialized and internationally renowned constructors of energy projects in Europe. METKA, which is listed on the Athens Stock Exchange, implements turn-key projects from their engineering and procurement stage to their construction, primarily for combined-cycle, conventional thermal and hydroelectric power plants.
