"Green Chemistry: Issues, Opportunities and Overcoming Barriers to Growth" has been selected as the topic for Sustainable Life Media's November month long editorial initiative. Guest editors will curate content across a wide spectrum of issues including impending global regulatory changes, economic pressures, and changing customer demands. Companies and leaders that have successfully applied the ten Green Chemistry principles in chemical manufacturing, and in formulated consumer products will have a platform for showcasing their results in articles and blog posts. Additionally, case studies and innovations in biotechnology and biomass derived chemistry will also be featured throughout the month of November.

"Our readers are business leaders seeking information about how others are profitably innovating for sustainability. They seek insights and ideas that might be applied across market sectors about how to drive top line growth and shift toward sustainability across their value chains," said KoAnn Vikoren Skrzyniarz, CEO of Sustainable Life Media (SLM). "We'll be exploring successful options and innovations as well as how companies are managing ingredient data and information flow through the value chain; traceability, and strategies for successful consumer communication and engagement from companies like BASF, Dow, Amyris, and SC Johnson."

All abstracts are due by Wednesday, October 26, 2011.
