Ceres launched its second episode in a three-part podcast series exploring Montana’s clean energy future. The episode features Gloria Flora, former U.S. Forest supervisor and founder and director of Sustainable Obtainable Solutions, an organization dedicated to the sustainability of public lands.

In the second episode of our series on Montana’s energy future, Flora maps out Montana’s clean energy future and explains how “biochar,” a possible carbon-negative energy source, can play a role. The U.S. Biochar Initiative, has been working to promote the sustainable production of biochar – a fine-grained charcoal – through research, policy and technology.

The first of our three part podcast series on Montana’s energy future featured Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer (listen here). Stay tuned for the third episode featuring Tom Darin, Western representative for the American Wind Energy Association.
