STAMFORD, Conn., Jun. 20 /CSRwire/ - /PRNewswire/ - Dominick Crea, CEO/Founder of The PSP Group, was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Westchester Coalition for the Hungry and the Homeless (WCHH). The Board of Directors will meet to determine which area of the Coalition Mr. Crea's expertise will serve.
When asked about his appointment to the Board, Mr. Crea replied, "I am extremely honored to be part of such a worthwhile cause. I truly look forward to doing my part by working with my fellow board members on aggressive strategies and resolutions."
The WCHH has been a local community leader in bringing awareness of the plight of the hungry, homeless and economically challenged since 1988. The primary activities of the Corporation include, but are not limited to: working to obtain grants and other financial support of programs which address problems connected with the issues of hunger and homelessness; endeavoring to prevent evictions, wherever possible; advocating for additional programs and services to help address the many needs of persons suffering from hunger, chronic under-nutrition and lack of shelter; and providing technical assistance to organizations and/or individuals who are seeking help to develop food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, transportation networks and other programs and services which address the issues of hunger and homelessness.
