EcoBonus® today announced that Annie's Homegrown has joined its eco-conscious customer rewards program as a Founding Sponsor. Annie's is the premier values-led company offering delicious, all-natural and organic pasta meals, snacks and comfort food.

"Annie's has a proud history as a natural and organic food industry pioneer. Their pioneering tradition continues as they become a Founding Sponsor of this new industry initiative to reach and reward consumers for taking sustainable actions," said Tiger Beaudoin, Founder of EcoBonus, a new division of BI®, The Business Improvement Company. "EcoBonus will work with Annie's to help introduce new products to customers and will highlight Annie's Root4Kids™ initiative aiming to inspire 1 million kids nationwide to dig and plant new vegetables."

"This is an exciting opportunity to recognize and reward our loyal customers and engage them at a deeper level," said Sarah Bird, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Annie's Homegrown. "In addition to making the best possible products without artificial ingredients, Annie's aims to be a role model by showing the moral and financial benefits of being a good corporate citizen and helping launch the EcoBonus coalition with like-minded brands is a natural extension of that commitment."

It provides a searchable database of 75,000 qualifying products and offers coupons and samples tailored to individual preferences, and rewards sustainable purchases with points. Participation is open to individuals, businesses and groups - and pooling of points by schools and faith-based organizations toward bigger rewards such as organic vending machines or solar panels is encouraged.

EcoBonus

EcoBonus is a rewards program for people who buy earth-friendly products. Its mission is to expand awareness of environmentally responsible products, empower people to make informed product decisions, and reward them for their eco-conscious purchases.

EcoBonus.com has a searchable database of 75,000 products that are more natural, eco-conscious, and/or socially responsible. Product details contain third-party ratings and certifications for attributes such as organic, fair trade, and non-GMO. Consumers can then decide which issues matter most to them and choose products based on the kind of impact they want to have—their EcoBonus. Members earn points by buying products from EcoBonus's reward partners and can redeem those points for earth-friendly gifts or donate them to participating nonprofit partners (coming soon).

EcoBonus was established on Earth Day 2010 and is a division of BI WORLDWIDE. Founded in 1950, BI WORLDWIDE is a privately held company with more than 1,000 associates located in Australia, Canada, China, India, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Learn more at www.biworldwide.com.
