Cancer touches more than 40 percent of Americans in their lifetime. With a total cost of nearly $264 billion in health care expenses and lost productivity in 2010, the disease has a major impact on the workforce. If you are responsible for your company's overall health management, health and wellness programs, corporate philanthropy, and/or community involvement initiatives, you can help change the course of cancer in your company and community by joining us for the 2011 American Cancer Society Corporate Impact Conference.

WHEN: Thursday and Friday, June 9-10, 2011
WHERE: Radisson Plaza Hotel - Minneapolis, Minn.

What can you expect?
Unlike many general health and wellness conferences created for corporations, the 2011 Corporate Impact Conference, co-hosted by the Minnesota CEOs Against Cancer® Chapter, will focus on cancer and the research supporting corporate intervention to help save lives from the disease. By attending this conference, you will learn how to bolster your bottom line with reduced absenteeism and health care costs, while increasing employee morale and engagement in the fight against cancer. The National Meeting of the CEOs Against Cancer, which is part of the 2011 Corporate Impact Conference, will focus on shaping the future of health care in the workplace.

The conference will be presented by the American Cancer Society Corporate & Systems Initiative - an effort which creates meaningful, long-term relationships with corporations and employers of all sizes by engaging them in delivery of the Society's lifesaving mission and support for its numerous programs and services. The Corporate & Systems Initiative helps companies implement scientifically-sound, comprehensive health and wellness programs and provides information and high-quality support for cancer screening and care to help people stay well and get well.
