/PRNewswire/ - The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR), an advocacy organization leading the charge in promoting Hispanic inclusion in Corporate America, honored 29 of the nation's most outstanding young corporate executives at the 2010 HACR Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers™ (YHCA) Program. The awards reception was held at the St. Regis Hotel in Washington, DC and was hosted by Altria.

"HACR believes a company's success is directly correlated to its inclusion strategies, and our young honorees exemplify this," said HACR president & CEO, Carlos F. Orta. "Over the past four years that we have offered the HACR YHCA program, we have seen the remarkable difference Hispanic inclusion has made in developing future corporate leaders."

HACR YHCA candidates from across the nation are nominated by their respective companies and selected after careful review of their accomplishments, established leadership qualities, industry expertise, education and employment experience, as well as their ongoing commitment to their communities. Candidates are between the ages of 25-40, of Hispanic heritage and are employed by a Fortune 500 or HACR corporate member company.

The 2010 HACR YHCA class is comprised of three vice presidents, five directors and 14 managers, from some of the country's leading industries. All 29 executives have bachelor's degrees, 26 have master's degrees and combined, they serve on 17 non-profit boards resulting in 5,171 hours of volunteer community service.
