/PRNewswire/ -- Ann Davison, Senior Vice President and Senior Partner at VOX Global will co-lead a Public Affairs Council Webinar along with Nate Hurst, Director of Sustainability, Walmart, entitled "Sustainability: For the Community and Your Bottom Line," on Thursday, September 16th from 2:00 pm "“ 3:00 pm EDT.
Companies face growing external pressures to address their greenhouse gas emissions and impact on natural resources and many are responding proactively with innovative approaches. Ann Davison, who worked on environmental policy for eight years in the U.S. Senate and served as a special assistant to U.S. EPA Administrator Carol Browner in the Clinton Administration, heads up VOX's growing sustainability practice. VOX's sustainability practice group works with clients to design, develop and promote corporate social responsibility, corporate citizenship and sustainability programs.
Nate Hurst is Director of Sustainability and part of Walmart's business strategy team that focuses on sustainability initiatives and government relations. Nate develops and executes a proactive internal and external strategy that helps advance Walmart's overall business initiatives with a particular focus on state and local political issues and environmental public policy. He provides overall strategic leadership for Walmart's sustainability goals, operational and real estate objectives.
