The Nano Science and Technology Institute (NSTI), and the Clean Technology and Sustainable Industries Organization (CTSI), today announced that the 2010 TechConnect World Conference and Expo will take place June 21-25, 2010 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

TechConnect World is a unique combination of three interconnected conferences focused on technology commercialization: Clean Technology, Nanotech, and the TechConnect Summit.

  • Clean Technology 2010: Focuses on top industrial and utility concerns, including smart grid, energy efficiency, energy storage, power generation and renewable energy, transportation, sustainable cities, water, finance and policy.

  • Nanotech 2010: Addresses the key issues in bringing nanotech from lab to market and key application areas including: advanced batteries, semiconductors, PV materials, lighting, biotech, green chemistry, modeling and simulation, fabrication and characterization.

  • TechConnect Summit 2010: Delivers the leading corporations, research universities, start-ups and investors across cleantech, nanotech, Microsystems and life sciences actively seeking technology and commercial partnerships, financing, research collaborations, and intellectual property licensing opportunities.

As the largest event in the United States focusing on technology commercialization, TechConnect World 2010 is uniquely positioned to bring together industry, research, and government. Representatives from each of these sectors are critical to solving the technical, market and regulatory challenges that slow down the pace of innovation.

"The event is able to match executives from companies like Lockheed Martin, BASF, Honda, Kodak, Merck, Sanyo and many others - with the research and business leaders that can partner with them to bring the next generation of products to market," said Matthew Laudon, Executive Director of NSTI.

TechConnect World is expected to draw over 5,000 attendees from over 70 countries, across major industry segments and along the technology path -- from research to implementation. The exposition - which features several international pavilions -- is expected to host more than 400 companies, universities, equipment manufacturers and solutions providers. These exhibitors will meet with thousands of prospects and potential buyers, who come to the expo to evaluate the latest technology and services. Submissions for case studies, sustainable or cleantech solutions, technical presentations, venture presentations and available intellectual property will open mid-September. Please sign-up here if you would like to be notified of submission opportunities.

TechConnect World provides attendees with a "one-stop-shop" for learning about the latest advancements, and evaluating the latest Clean-technology, Nanotechnology and Biotechnology solutions. More information on conference can be found at: www.techconnectworld.com
