MINNEAPOLIS, MN - April 9, 2009 - Verisae, a web-enabled site and asset management software and services company, announced today that Director of Energy Services Paul Hepperla has been selected by the Food Marketing Institute to speak at The FMI Show + Marketechnics 2007 in Chicago. Mr. Hepperla’s workshop: "Managing Energy Costs at Retail" will focus on how retailers are reducing energy costs at store level. Tried and true methods, innovative strategies and new technologies will be featured.

Increases in energy costs have retailers focusing on more methods to reduce energy consumption and methods to track greenhouse gas emissions to reduce their carbon footprint. Former Vice President of the United States, Al Gore is speaking the same day at FMI on the topic: "Democratization of Technology"

"Retailers are naturally looking to reduce their energy expense due to the large bottom line impact," said Paul Wickberg, President and Chief Operating Officer of Verisae. "By using proven methods with new technologies to track energy consumption in a store or an enterprise, reduced energy costs become a reality." Several retailers have chosen Verisae to tie this information together for better decision making about energy consuming equipment. Verisae is exhibiting at the FMI Show in Booth #645 May 6-8th.

Verisae is committed to helping its customers achieve superior standards of energy performance and lower CO2 emissions in their buildings. In doing so, these customers will reap financial rewards and position themselves as environmentally responsible stewards.

Paul Hepperla’s workshop session is Sunday May 6, 2007 at The FMI Show + Marketechnics in Chicago. Hepperla was Manager of Energy and Operations Services with SuperValu, the 2nd largest grocery retailer in the United States, before joining Verisae in 2006.
