Four students were awarded more than $10,000 in scholarship money by Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: ARW) to financially help them pursue their bachelors’ degrees.

This year’s scholarship recipients include: Erin L. Badough, Dallas, Texas, a second-time winner and environmental engineering major at Texas Tech University; Joshua S. Diamant, St. James, New York, a senior at Smithtown High School who plans to pursue a degree in music at Columbia University; Kellie J. Landry, Pelham, New Hampshire, a three-time winner and dual sports education and sports medicine major attending Sterling College in Boston, Massachusetts; and Paul Singleton, from Greenville, South Carolina, a freshman attending Wake Forest University who plans to major in business.

“We are pleased to be able to offer this opportunity to students of Arrow employees. It’s rewarding to know that we can help them reach their educational goals,” said Jean Sheng, Arrow’s Vice President of Human Resources.

Established in 1986, the scholarship program honors the memory of James Anthony Winger, Jr., son of Tony Winger, Arrow’s Vice President of Supplier and Marketing Development, and is awarded to students whose parents work for the company.
