CINCINNATI - Cintas Corporation (Nasdaq: CTAS) today announced it is launching a comprehensive aid program, valued at over $2 million, to help bring relief to victims ravaged by the tsunami disaster in South Asia.

The program, referred to as "Operation: Cintas Cares," will bring clothing to Matthew: 25 Ministries' tsunami relief initiatives and employee-matched donations to the American Red Cross International Response Fund. In addition, the Farmer Family Foundation - established by Cintas Founder and Chairman, Richard T. Farmer - will contribute $250,000 to the Red Cross in the name of Cintas.

"Our employee-partners' extraordinary response to this emergency reflects our personal and corporate commitment to making a difference," said Scott Farmer, Cintas President and CEO. "Our thoughts are with the victims and families affected by this disaster."

Cintas' garment donations will be coordinated through an existing partnership with Cincinnati-based Matthew: 25 Ministries' Center for Humanitarian Relief. The company has pledged 150,000 articles of new clothing, valued at over $2 million, to support the ministry's tsunami relief efforts. "Cintas is a shining example of corporate America's generosity in times of tragedy and desperation," said Reverend Wendell Mettey, Matthew 25: Ministries' Founder and President. "We've been on the ground to assess the situation in South Asia, and Cintas' aid will be crucial to helping those who have truly lost everything."

The company's financial contribution to the American Red Cross International Response Fund will include voluntary donations from up to 28,000 employee-partners across North America. Cintas will match the total donation raised by its employees up to $50,000.
