Computer Associates' General Counsel Elected To The National Center For Missing & Exploited Children's Board Of Directors

ALEXANDRIA, VA, and ISLANDIA, N.Y. - Computer Associates International, Inc. (NYSE:CA) and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) today announced that NCMEC has elected CA Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary Kenneth V. Handal to its Board of Directors, underscoring a partnership between the organizations that began more than eight years ago.

"Ken brings to our board a broad range of legal experience and a long-standing commitment to social causes," said former U.S. Senator Dennis DeConcini, Chairman of the Board of Directors, NCMEC. "We look forward to his valuable input on legal, social, political and technological initiatives that will help us achieve our mission."

Handal has practiced law for more than 30 years in corporations, government and at a national law firm. His legal expertise includes compliance, corporate governance, litigation and corporate law. Shortly after joining CA in 2004 to manage the worldwide legal team, Handal started the company's pro bono program. He has served on the boards of the Legal Aid Society, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York Fund, Inc., the New York Lawyers for the Public Interest, the Brooklyn Academy of Music and the International League for Human Rights.
