PRINCETON, N.J. - Dow Jones & Company announced today that Dorothea Coccoli Palsho is to be honored this evening at a "Salute to the Policy Makers Dinner" hosted by Executive Women of New Jersey.

Executive Women of New Jersey (EWNJ) promotes the advancement of women to the highest levels of business, the professions and government. Biannually, EWNJ hosts the dinner to honor female directors and officers of major corporations with significant facilities in New Jersey.

Mrs. Coccoli Palsho is vice president of strategic marketing for Dow Jones & Company and serves on the board of directors of Factiva, a Dow Jones and Reuters company. Previously, she was vice president of strategy and marketing for the Electronic Publishing Group of Dow Jones, president of Dow Jones Interactive Publishing, vice president/circulation, The Wall Street Journal, among many other management positions.

In 1999, Mrs. Coccoli Palsho was selected for the Internet Innovator Award from Technology New Jersey, and in 1998, she testified before the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Telecommunications, Trade and Consumer Protection on the issue of electronic commerce; that same year she was selected to serve as a judge for the McKinsey Awards, which determine the best articles published in the Harvard Business Review. In 1995, she was inducted into the academy of women achievers.

Mrs. Coccoli Palsho received a bachelor's degree in business administration, summa cum laude, from Villanova University in Pennsylvania and an M.B.A., with academic distinction, from Temple University in Philadelphia.

She and her husband, Edward Palsho, an attorney, have two sons, Christopher and Ryan, and a stepdaughter, Erika. They live in Princeton, N.J.
