New York, June 14 - Black Enterprise magazine, the leading publication for African-American business professionals and entrepreneurs, today named Kodak to its list of The 30 Best Companies for Diversity. The magazine's editors praised Kodak's attention to increased supplier diversity goals, diverse senior leadership, and succession planning processes that include attention to diverse internal candidates.

More than 160 companies were evaluated by Black Enterprisee for their diversity initiatives. Others in the top 30 include McDonald's Corp., IBM, FedEx Express, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. The magazine said that companies on the list outperformed competitors in four key areas: supplier diversity, multicultural representation on their boards of directors, senior management positions held by ethnic minorities, and the percentage of ethnic minority groups represented in their total workforce.

"We are especially proud to be recognized by Black Enterprise as among the best of the best companies for diversity," said Essie L. Calhoun, chief diversity officer, director of community affairs, and a Kodak vice president. "This recognition truly reflects the efforts of Kodak people everywhere to build a Winning and Inclusive Culture - and share this commitment with our supplier base."

Details of the 30 Best Companies for Diversity appear in Black Enterprise's July 2005 issue and on www.blackenterprise.com
