SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 1, 2007--Starbucks Coffee Company (Nasdaq:SBUX) today announced the launch of its fiscal year 2006 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Annual Report. The report reinforces Starbucks commitment to operate responsibly and includes information on coffee-buying practices, growth and community impact, environment and climate change strategy, health and wellness initiatives and workplace practices.
This year, Starbucks will launch two versions of the CSR Annual Report. The abridged version -- available March 1 on Starbucks.com -- focuses on Starbucks most material issues identified through an extensive assessment of the important issues to stakeholders and to Starbucks. A comprehensive version of the report will be available
online on Starbucks interactive website beginning March 21. In April, the abridged report will also be available online in Spanish, Japanese, simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese and Arabic.
