Ethan Allen (NYSE:ETH), one of the world's leading home furnishings manufacturer and retailer, announced today that it has donated more than $300,000 to aid families of the victims of the September 11th disaster. Ethan Allen collected donations from its associates nationwide and matched each dollar raised.

All funds will be distributed to organizations including The American Red Cross, Americares, The Salvation Army, The Widows and Children's Fund of the New York City Fire Department, The Widows and Children's Fund of the New York City Police Department, the Emergency Medical Service Command Memorial Foundation, and the Pentagon Disaster Relief Fund.

In addition to its monetary donation, Ethan Allen supplied furniture to the Family Assistance Center at New York's Pier 94, and employees participated in a food drive that benefited rescue workers and a blood drive for The American Red Cross.
