MADE Tecnologias Renovables, an affiliate of ENDESA, has implemented the construction of the Pico Gallo wind farm, the first one in the Spanish region of Asturias (northern Spain), with an installed capacity of 24.4 MW.

The wind farm is owned by ENDESA Cogeneracion y Renovables, Northeolic and Cinergy Global Power.

This important project, amounting to an investment of above Euro 18 million, has been executed by MADE Tecnologias Renovables, S.A. under a turnkey contract, and consists of 37 units of MADE's AE-46/I generators of 660 kW each.

The facility counts on avant-garde technology, 100% developed by MADE. MADE has incorporated to the facility its Geswind system for the internet-based management and control of wind farms, which will not only simplify the management of the facility but will also optimise it. This makes Pico Gallo Spain's most technologically advanced wind farm.
