Concord Camera Corp. ("Concord") (NASDAQ National Market: LENS) today promised $1 million to relief efforts for the families of the firefighters and policemen who gave their lives in the pursuit of saving the lives of others during the Attack on America. In addition, Concord will match up to $250,000 of contributions made by members of its Board of Directors, Executive Officers and Employees to organizations of their choice, that support the victims and their families of the Attack on America.

Ira B. Lampert, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President stated the following regarding the Attack on America. "Tuesday, September 11, 2001 is a day we and the entire world will never forget. On this day, an unimaginable, horrific and unconscionable, violent tragedy was committed by barbaric terrorists -- an Act of War on America and all Americans, a senseless act of terrorism and loss of lives. Those who perished are all heroes, in particular the firefighters and policemen who unselfishly gave their lives in the pursuit of saving the lives of the innocent victims trapped in the World Trade Center.

"There is no question that our lives and Country will never be the same. We need to focus our attention on those who are guilty, those who assisted and sheltered them, and bring to bear the severest penalty that can be imagined, so that it sends a long and hard message that acts of terrorism will not be tolerated by any individuals and/or countries, whether they are directly or indirectly involved.

"With the passage of time, the correct decisions of our leaders and the endearing support of all Americans, we will emerge as a stronger, better nation and society. We are and will always be -- "The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave."

"The aftermath of the events have and will continue to result in additional stress in all of our lives, so we need to be tolerant of and patient with one another.
