NEW YORK, New York - Nima Hunter, Inc. & Ethical Corporation have developed a Corporate Social Responsibility survey to assess attitudes and behaviours of worldwide CSR practitioners on key issues, strategies and tactics specific to corporate responsibility. The aim of the survey is to provide a clearer understanding of factors driving businesses commitment to sustainable development, triple bottom line reporting and other tactics for development of important CSR issues such as ISO 14001 certification of suppliers, GRI sustainability reporting, Expensing of Stock Options, NGO's representation on the Board of Directors etc.

The survey will be online at www.ethicalcorp.com/survey as of 19 August 2002. Survey respondents will receive a free copy of the survey report and a $100 discount on their registration fee for the upcoming Ethical Corporation magazine's USA 2002 Conference titled: "How to Manage Corporate Responsibility, Why it is Essential and How to Make it Pay."

The survey report will also be distributed free to attendees of the two day conference, to be held in New York on October 2-4. The conference will provide participants with practical advice on how to integrate Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility into their business strategy. In-depth case studies will enable peers from around the world to exchange experiences on a variety of issues such as Human Rights Performance, Social Performance Measurement and other emerging issues in corporate social and environmental responsibility.

The conference will have key notes speeches, presentations and panellists from companies such as: Patagonia, Toyota, Hewlett Packard, Dupont, Microsoft, Intel, Citigroup, Alcan, Novo Nordisk, MTV Networks and Green Peace among others. The 3-day conference and workshop looks at the effective management of corporate responsibility on a global scale.

Don Carli, Principal at Nima Hunter, Inc says: "Corporate commitment to sustainability is growing as leading executives, supply chain managers, and institutional investors are now paying close attention to social and environmental performance in addition to financial performance."

"It is imperative for businesses, post WorldCom and Enron to implement and manage a more effective corporate responsibility system and institute responsible practice" said Ethical Corporation magazine Editor, Toby Webb.
