SAN FRANCISCO – Business for Social Responsibility is pleased to announce that Yvon Chouinard, founder and owner of Ventura-based Patagonia, Inc., will be a featured speaker at this year’s Business for Social Responsibility Annual Conference, November 11-14, 2003, at The Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, California USA.

Yvon Chouinard is a celebrated environmental business pioneer whose award-winning company inspires and implements innovative solutions to environmental challenges. Mr. Chouinard is also cofounder of “1% For the Planet, ” a nonprofit organization that encourages businesses to emulate Pategonia in committing one percent of their net revenues to efforts that protect and restore the natural environment.
