Wakefield, Massachusetts - Annie’s Homegrown Inc., the nation’s leading brand of natural and organic macaroni and cheese, has donated over 100 cases of their delicious Macaroni & Cheese to community centers, Schools and various organizations across the United States.

Through a community program known as Cases for Causes, Annie's donates cases of its Mac and Cheese to non-profit organizations that benefit women, children, education and the environment. It is fundamentally part of Annie’s mission to be a good corporate citizen and to give back to the community.

"Annie’s strives to serve as an ethically, socially, and environmentally conscious business. We believe in giving back to our community and making a difference." said Paul Nardone, President and CEO of Annie’s.

The Cases for Causes program helps the society and the environment while simultaneously increasing the public awareness for Annie's products. To a great extent, Annie’s relies on consumers to spread the word about their products. The goal is to build mutual support between Annie's and each Cases for Causes recipient.

Some of the recent Cases for Causes recipients include The Food Project of Dorchester, MA, Hunger Mountain Children’s Center of Waterbury, VT, Time for Life, West Hartford, CT, and the Cedar Springs Waldorf School.

Each Cases for Causes recipient uses the cases of macaroni & cheese in a variety of different ways varying from using them as game prizes for preschoolers during Waterbury’s third annual Kids Fest Celebration, to selling them at a local farmers market to promote healthy and nutritious living, to even being the dinner of choice while paddling from Minnesota to the Artic Ocean on a schoolteachers expedition.

Annie’s continues to donate cases of their Macaroni & Cheese throughout the year and is constantly accepting applications for their Cases for Causes Program
