CATLETT, Virginia - Come join the Environmental Alliance for Senior Involvement’s (EASI) International Conference & Senior Watershed Summit celebration, "A Decade of Service...Generations of Experience," scheduled for October 28-30 at the Sandy Cove Conference Center in North East, Maryland. Relax along the shores of the Chesapeake and learn from senior volunteers how they are actively taking care of the environment. Come and share your expertise and questions with this dedicated group of senior volunteers and those organizations and agencies around the world that work or want to work with senior volunteers.

Sandy Cove Conference Center offers remarkable opportunities for hands-on demonstrations of environmental volunteer activities and scenic autumn vistas of the upper Chesapeake Bay - complete with its fall bird migrations. Midway between Baltimore and Philadelphia, Sandy Cove is convenient to both of those metropolitan areas, as well as Washington, DC and Delaware.

Attendance at this conference will be limited to only 300 individuals and over 100 participants have already registered -- including participants from India, Australia, Mexico, Canada and England! This limited attendance is designed to encourage individual conversations and small working groups that will identify best practices and share them with the conference participants. EASI and its partners will be identifying opportunities and funding sources for projects for the next year. Senior volunteers and their host organizations in attendance will be provided opportunities to sign up to participate in these new initiatives.
