In an ongoing effort to promote child safety, Zkid and Boerner will package the Zkid state of the art "KidsKeep(R)" software with Boerner's "McGruff(R) Safe Kids Identification Kit." The package will provide an unprecedented level of education, safety and security for children, both on the Internet and at home. This new promotional package will include the "McGruff(R) Safe Kids Identification Kit," Zkid "KidsKeep"(R) proprietary software, fingerprint kit with proprietary micro encapsulated ink and instructions for use, emergency phone number tear-off card, children's guide to internet safety, and sixty days free access to the Zkid Network "KidsKeep"(R) virtual private network.
Zkid Network Company CEO, Jon Darmstadter, states that "utilizing the NCPC license and 'McGruff'(R) as our principle brand allows us to bring a child safety kit to market that is educational, fun and safe. We believe this to be an overlooked, albeit much needed, category at the retail level."
Boerner manufactures and distributes a variety of children's safety products and publications, including the "McGruff(R) Safe Kids Identification Kit," which contains a finger print strip for use by parents and their children. According to Kurt Boerner, CEO of the twelve year old company, this is the only fingerprint and identification program ever endorsed by the National Crime Prevention Council.
