The United Nations Global Compact announced that on 9-11 December 2003 it will convene the third international Global Compact Learning Forum Meeting in Nova Lima, Brazil.

The meeting, which is open to all companies and other organizations participating in the Global Compact initiative, will be a unique opportunity for participants to share experiences and knowledge in a multi-stakeholder forum.

The meeting is designed to focus on the most relevant issues related to the Global Compact, including the implementation of the nine principles, structuring partnerships, and communicating progress made.

The event will also feature a 9 December "Latin American Workshop on Supply Chain Management", an extension of the related Global Compact Policy Dialogue convened earlier in 2003.
