London - Susan Spindler, acclaimed programme maker and one of the creators of Walking with Dinosaurs, Animal Hospital and The Human Body is the latest speaker to join the forum on "How to Implement Corporate Social Responsibility Communications for Business Results" to be held on 24-25 February 2004.

Susan was asked by BBC Director General, Greg Dyke to be the project director of "One BBC - Making it Happen", a BBC-wide project of change, based around seven key ideas. At the forum, Susan will give the background to this major initiative to drive internal change and how responsible publicly funded organisations communicate.

According to Sally Durcan a director of event organiser, CSR Data Networks, this forum is designed to bring together CSR teams wanting to increase their communications effectiveness and corporate communications and public affairs professionals wanting to integrate CSR messages with their existing programmes.

"There is a real need for more effective communication in the practice of corporate responsibility. According to MORI's latest research, three-quarters (74%) of the British population say more information on a company's social and ethical behaviour would influence their purchasing decisions, Furthermore, nearly nine in 10 people (86%) think companies should actively communicate their community activities -- and six in 10 (59%) say it is acceptable for companies to benefit from these activities."

Jenny Dawkins, director of MORI's recent CSR study will also be speaking at the event. Other speakers include: Raphael Hilbron, Manager Corporate Responsibility, Vodafone; Simon Walker, Director of Corporate Communications, Reuters; Michael Hastings, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility, BBC and Liz Tooke, Head of Public Affairs, BAA.

The forum will take place on 24-25 February 2004 at Bankside House , London School of Economics (LSE), 24 Sumner Street, London , SE1 9JA (Tube Station: St Pauls, London Bridge). Sponsors include World Television (www.world-television.com) and Willand Consulting (www.willandconsulting.com)
