May 22, 2007 - Business Alliance for Local Living Economies presents a two-night film festival relating to BALLE principles Tuesday, May 29 and Wednesday, May 30 at UC Berkeley Wheeler Auditorium. The film fest will kick-off the 5th annual BALLE Conference.
The line-up includes premieres, a 2007 Sundance favorite, a UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism submission, features and shorts. Each screening time includes filmmakers in person. Highlights include Everything's Cool, a Sundance 2007 audience favorite about global warming, and Manufactured Landscapes, a documentary from Canadian artist and TED winner Edward Burtynsky about China's industrial revolution.
