Presidio School of Management Fills Key Leadership Position

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - August 6, 2007 - Presidio School of Management, offering the MBA in Sustainable Management, has named long-time business professional and education administrator, Seyed Amiry as its new Chief Administrative Officer. The position of Chief Administrative Officer is newly created in response to Presidio School of Management’s significant growth and demand for enrollment. In 2003, the program’s first year, Presidio enrolled 22 students. Now, four years later, the innovative program is educating 200 MBA students dedicated to changing the business world for the better.

"We're thrilled to have Mr. Amiry join our team," said Steven Swig, president of Presidio School of Management. "He brings vast experience in business and education, and the leadership necessary to grow Presidio to the next level."

Mr. Amiry has 27 years of experience and leadership in higher education and business. He has worked as a consultant with Golden Gate University, California’s fifth largest private university, where he led the development of new undergraduate and graduate degree programs, and he was Chief Operating Officer overseeing 13 campuses at Heald College in San Francisco from 1997 to 2001. In addition, he was the President and CEO for Core Microsystems, a start-up computer workstation manufacturer.

His duties at Presidio will largely focus on strategic planning, budget management and administrative oversight of departments, including human resources, operations management, information technology, student services, marketing and admissions.
