SAN ANTONIO, TX - Uniting the tradition of the nonprofit world and the promise of the Internet, www.texasnonprofits.org is pleased to announce a new and improved website that offers an easier way for nonprofits to raise money, find volunteers, employees, advisors and other resources they need to function more effectively and efficiently.

"The nonprofit world's bottom line is not in dollars, but in doing good for society," said Jacqueline Beretta, creator of www.texasnonprofits.org. "Our aim is to connect donors and volunteers with charitable causes to encourage building community deep in the hearts of Texans."

Throughout the past year and a half, TXNP has successfully built a large community of Texas nonprofits, philanthropists and foundations, who have shared pertinent information on philanthropy. The new site, which is built on a robust database driven website, houses over 70,000 official Texas nonprofits and over 5,000 Texas foundations. It's goal is to save nonprofits time and money through improved Internet connectivity and data management such as free email accounts, a searchable and comprehensive foundation directory, and tools that help nonprofits attract volunteers, in-kind donations and event attendees.

"Giving nonprofits a boost up to do a greater good," Beretta said, "is our hope with the introduction of this new website."
