World’s Largest Electric Drive Exposition Announced for EVS-20

WASHINGTON, DC — The world’s largest Electric Drive Exposition will take center stage at EVS-20: Powering Sustainable Transportation, in Long Beach, California from November 15-19, 2003. Over 100 companies from around the world will exhibit the latest battery, hybrid and fuel cell technology on a 50,000 square foot exposition floor at the Long Beach Convention Center. Exhibitors include major auto manufacturers, government agencies, battery, hybrid electric and fuel cell technology developers, energy providers and a host of bike, scooter and low speed vehicle manufacturers.     EDTA Conferences Chair Ed LaRocque, Toyota’s National Manager for Advanced Technology Vehicles, says, “"EVS-20: Powering Sustainable Transportation will showcase the breadth and growing diversity of companies and products that comprise the electric drive transportation industry. And, the EVS-20 Exposition is unique as it takes the audience off the show floor and puts them “behind the wheel” of cutting edge battery, hybrid and fuel cell electric vehicles that will be provided for test driving by EVS exhibiting companies.”
