NEW YORK, NY - Deutsche Bank announced yesterday that its Global Partnership Network for Women (GPNW) will host the 9th annual "Women on Wall Street" conference, entitled 'Strategic Risk: Taking the Leap Toward Greater Reward,' on Tuesday, October 7, 2003 in New York City.

"We are very excited to host this important networking conference again. In this increasingly competitive employment market, it is more important than ever that we continue to provide a forum in which women working on Wall Street and related industries can exchange ideas and practical advice," said Karen Meyer, Head of Global Diversity at Deutsche Bank. "Our 2003 conference will benefit women in all stages of their careers, especially in this tight labor market, where taking risks is crucial for women to meet their professional and personal goals."

The conference will start at 5:30 p.m. with opening remarks by Deutsche
Bank's Roelfien Kuijpers, Global Head of Strategic Research and Planning, and welcoming remarks by Tom Hughes, Global Head, Asset Management and Member of Deutsche Bank Group Executive Committee. This will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Vickee Jordan Adams, U.S. Director of Media Communications and Senior Vice President of Hill & Knowlton. Panelists will offer their professional and personal insights about taking measured risks in today's labor market.

Scheduled panelists include:

The Women on Wall Street conference is another example of Deutsche Bank'scommitment to ensuring employees receive support in networking and career development. Launched in 1995 as an internal initiative, Women on Wall Street has evolved into a fully subscribed, industry-wide networking forum that brings together a diverse, talented group of professional women representing global firms from the financial sector and related industries.

    Editorial Note:

GPNW was established in 1991 by a group of women at Bankers Trust prior to its merger with Deutsche Bank. Its goals were to further career development, leadership, and business opportunities for women throughout the firm. Today, GPNW is a dynamic, entrepreneurial organization, with members from Deutsche Bank offices in the U.S. In addition to providing networking opportunities for women and presenting educational programs open to all Deutsche Bank employees - - both women and men, GPNW stands at the forefront of efforts to further career development for professional women in business.

For the past eight years, GPNW has sponsored the "Women on Wall Street" Conference. The conference has been open not only to men and women from Deutsche Bank, but also to others from Wall Street and the broader business community. In 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000, the conference attracted 1,500 participants each of those years. In 2001 and 2002, approximately 2,000 individuals attended.

Deutsche Bank was named one of the top 100 companies for working mothers by Working Mother Magazine in 2002 and received a score of 100 percent in the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Corporate Equality Index 2003 report.
