National Hispanic Corporate Council Member Executives To Present at SRI Conference

ARLINGTON, VA - Four member executives of the National Hispanic Corporate Council (NHCC) will conduct a forum on diversity initiatives and workforce training. The session will take place on July 29th at Bridgewaters, South Street Seaport in New York City, as part of Strategic Research Institute's (SRI) conference on multicultural equity. This panel discussion offers conference attendees the unique opportunity to learn first hand, from industry experts, best practices for building and maintaining a successful diversity program. NHCC and SRI recently formed an alliance providing their respective members greater access to information regarding Hispanic marketing and diversity.

Ray Celaya, Chair of NHCC's Education Committee and Assistant Vice President for Allstate Insurance, will act as moderator. He will also discuss Allstate's Hispanic marketing initiatives. Salvador Mendoza, Director of Diversity for Hyatt Hotels Corporation, will discuss how the hotel chain trains its employees. John Sequeira, Vice-chair of NHCC's Education Committee and Senior Diversity Advisor for Shell Oil, will discuss the company's Hispanic Employee Networks. A. Yvonne Vargas, NHCC board member and Human Resources Project Manager for The Boeing Company, will discuss the role of Latina women within her company.
