Moli Steinert, Director of Development for The Institute for OneWorld Health, a nonprofit pharmaceutical company, will present its unique business model, created to deliver affordable, new medicines to people in the developing world during a virtual conference, Business as an Agent of World Benefit.
The entire conference will take place on-line, allowing members of an international audience to participate from the comfort of their home or office. Convened by the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, Business as an Agent of World Benefit is a worldwide search for those businesses and leaders at all levels that are experimenting at the cutting edge of business and society.
OneWorld Health fills a gap in drug development for infectious diseases. The company's drug pipeline includes advanced treatments for certain parasitic and diarrheal diseases, and potential treatments for malaria and Chagas disease.
