RADCLIFF, KY. - October 28, 2008 - Harrah's Entertainment's H.E.R.O. committee "“ Harrah's Employees Reaching Out "“ invites Las Vegans to participate in a charity golf tournament benefiting USA Cares on Tuesday, Nov. 11. USA Cares is a worldwide nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to military families through community initiatives, corporate and individual contributions and grants. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the organization and will assist families in the Las Vegas area.

The Veterans Day tournament will be hosted at Harrah's Entertainment-owned Cascata Golf Course, one of the premier golf courses in the country.

"The team from Imperial Palace and Bill's has really stepped up to support USA Cares, and we can't thank them enough," USA Cares Executive Director Bill Nelson said. "The proceeds from this tournament will be a wonderful source of support for our military families."

Breakfast and sign-in begins at 8 a.m. The tournament will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a shotgun start. Lunch immediately follows play. The awards ceremony and raffles will be during lunch. Tournament registration is still open at $1,500 a foursome team or $375 an individual. Registration includes breakfast, all greens fees, cart fees, caddy, lunch, range balls and player gift bags.
