DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 22, 2007--With 750,000 children reported missing annually in the U.S., Child Protection Education of America (CPEA) is continually seeking new ways to address one of America's most pressing concerns, missing and exploited children. As traditional fundraising methods become increasingly competitive, CPEA has tapped into a new fundraising strategy based on a unique corporate partnership that has helped them raise an astonishing $2 million in just four years. With the help of Quantum Events U.S.A., the leader in event-based marketing for North America, CPEA has raised needed funds to invest in everything from enhanced technology for child fingerprinting, parent and child education campaigns, and more.

Unlike many corporate sponsorship programs, Quantum has instituted a unique commitment to CPEA that involves each and every individual within the Quantum organization. While some fund-raisers may span anywhere from one event to a short series of projects, Quantum has invested 100 percent of its resources in CPEA, making the issue of missing children paramount to its business plan.

By tapping into Quantum's innovative marketing approach, which takes products and messages directly to neighborhoods and community members across the country, CPEA can reach new audiences and increase overall awareness of the program's mission, while generating crucial funding through its ongoing sales of t-shirts, fingerprinting kits, DNA kits and other child safety products.

"Our program with Quantum has been without a doubt the most successful partnership CPEA has undertaken," said Hilary Sessions, executive director for CPEA. "Quantum has truly become an extension of CPEA, which is evident by the frequent calls we receive from parents who've registered with us as a direct result of their interaction with the Quantum team."

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

In 2007 alone Quantum has contributed more than $200,000 to CPEA, which is expected to reach $650,000 by the end of this year. Tapping into Quantum's prominent corporate partners, CPEA is able to raise funds through Quantum's event-based marketing programs that educate local families on child safety practices through community events, gift fairs, business-to-business events and local in-store programs. Quantum teams are typically stationed in high traffic areas such as major retail stores, banks and shopping malls to provide local customers with helpful information on DNA kits, educational games and child safety literature for adults and children.

In addition to its work with CPEA, Quantum's partners include various charitable organizations such as U.S. Marine Corps 'Toys for Tots', Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.), Smart Kid Card, Inc. and Child Watch. Quantum thrives on providing event-based marketing support for businesses and organizations which allows them to reach more audiences by creating a unique synergy between their partners and the communities they serve.

"Our relationship with CPEA is more than just a partnership, but rather a key part of Quantum's corporate mission to promote child safety in the U.S.," said Mike Putnam, president and CEO of Quantum Events U.S.A. "We're thrilled that our proven marketing strategy has created a whole new opportunity for success for valuable community organizations like CPEA."
