CHICAGO,IL. - September 3, 2008 - With twenty days to go, top companies are now preparing to share their climate strategies at the third annual Corporate Climate Response event in Chicago on September 22-23.

Highlights of this year's program include a keynote presentation from John Wells, CEO of Interface Americas, who is discussing his company's goal to use 100% renewable energy sources. Burt's Bees CEO John Replogle is also speaking at this event and will discuss the complexities of building a sustainable supply chain. The company recently announced its goal to reduce its US Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions by 35 percent per dollar sales from 2006 to 2011.

Other highlights include an extended "Green Leaders Working Lunch" where top climate change experts will be available to answer delegates’ most pressing questions on climate policy and corporate response. "When it comes to the issue of global warming, I think it is wise to shrink the problem down to a size we can contend with, rather than seeing the task as so huge that it seems impossible to turn around," Ms. Dunn says. Rob Harmon, Chief Innovation Officer at the Bonneville Environmental Foundation, will also participate in this roundtable.
