MONTEREY, CA - June 5, 2008 - Sustainable Brands '08 came to a close after four days of stimulating and thought-provoking dialogue on all aspects of sustainability. The second Sustainable Brands conference, themed "Below the Surface," was a resounding success and received positive accolades from participants.

SB'08 more than doubled in size from the inaugural event held in September 2007, and saw the debut of 17 products and research findings. More than 550 brand leaders from leading companies including Best Buy, Boeing, Clorox, Dial/Henkel, DuPont, Gap Inc., General Mills, HP, Nestle-Purina, Nordstrom, Seventh Generation, Pepsi-Cola, Panasonic, Payless Shoes, Procter & Gamble, Red Bull, SAP, Steelcase, SC Johnson and Yahoo! participated in this year's event. In addition to presentations of case studies, research, best practices and new thinking, the conference offered hands-on workshops, a trade show and multiple book signings.
