LOS ANGELES, CA, and FRAMINGHAM, MA, December 4, 2007 GreenXchange LLC today announced that Governor Bill Richardson, 2008 Presidential Candidate and former U.S. Secretary of Energy, will deliver a keynote address at the GreenXchange(TM) Global Marketplace Conference on Monday, December 10, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. During Governor Richardson’s presentation, attendees will hear first-hand about his plan for a New Energy Revolution. The inaugural conference is scheduled to take place December 10-11, 2007, at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. To register for the event, visit www.greenxchangexpo.com.

"Conferences like GreenXchange's are essential to opening up the dialogue concerning our energy crisis," Richardson said. "Creating an aggressive, comprehensive energy policy should be the highest priority of the next President. Our economy and environment are suffering. We can no longer sit on the side lines while our country continues to be dependent on foreign oil and global warming emissions continue to threaten our environment and the well being of future generations."

Bill Richardson was recently re-elected to a second term as Governor of New Mexico with the support of 69 percent of voters, representing the largest margin of victory for any governor in state history. Prior to his term as Governor, Bill Richardson served as Secretary of the Department of Energy where he oversaw and reformed one of the most challenging agencies in government. Secretary Richardson fought hard for renewable energy, and won the President's support for requiring that 7.5% of U.S. electricity be generated by renewable power by 2010. He also enacted tough energy efficiency standards that will save energy and save millions of dollars on America's electric bills. Richardson's current plan to increase our use of renewable energy is based on his experience as Energy Secretary.

"It's a distinct honor for us to have Governor Richardson, one of the most committed players in the battle against global warming, as a keynote presenter at our conference," said David Abel, Chairman and General Manager, VerdeXchange. "His plans for driving an American energy and security strategy have been praised as among the most forward-thinking proposed to date. We're privileged to have the chance to hear him articulate on that plan and other successful initiatives that he spearheaded as the former U.S. Secretary of Energy."

"The energy reduction initiatives that Governor Richardson has made both as U.S. Secretary of Energy and Governor of New Mexico have been recognized on a global level and we are truly grateful to have him at this inaugural event," said Mary Dolaher, CEO, IDG World Expo. "He understands the importance of protecting our most valuable natural resources and we look forward to hearing him discuss his views on environmental sensibility at what promises to be one of the most dynamic green events yet."

The GreenXchange Global Marketplace Conference brings together decision makers from the spectrum of renewable technology and energy marketplaces to help companies and public institutions connect the green dots - choose and assemble less carbon emitting energy portfolios. Discussions and ideas presented at the conference will shape the agenda for the first annual GreenXchange Xpo(TM), scheduled to take place October 1-3, 2008 in Los Angeles, Calif. The conference and 2008 Xpo are produced by GreenXchange LLC, the partnership of tradeshow producer IDG World Expo and environmental think-tank VerdeXchange.
