Annual Survey Results Announced in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, Dec. 11 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM) and Sodexho, Inc. will release results of its 2007 Hunger and Homelessness Survey at a Press Conference on Monday, December 17 at 10:30 am at the Conference of Mayors headquarters. The survey will include results from twenty-three (23) of America's largest cities.

For the past 21 years, The U.S. Conference of Mayors has reported on the shortage of emergency services - food, shelter, medical care, income assistance and energy assistance - in our nation's cities. For the fifth year, Sodexho, Inc. joins the Conference of Mayors in bringing national attention to the factors that impact hunger and homelessness in metropolitan centers in the United States. This year's report was done by Abt, Associates, Inc., who was retained by USCM to conduct the survey.
