TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 12/17/07 -- Mondial Energy has been named one of Canada's Top 10 Cleantech companies for 2008. The awards are organized each year by the Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation (OCRI) and are sponsored by the law firm Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. The purpose of the award is to promote the ten most promising companies in the Cleantech industry. Winners are chosen by an independent expert panel of Canadian and US venture capitalists.
As part of the award, Mondial receives coaching in investor relations and in presenting to investors. Mondial will also benefit from the opportunity to participate in a series of Investor Forums that OCRI is organizing in early 2008 in Boston, New York and San Francisco.
The purpose of the forums is to bring winning companies and active investors together for a series of one-on-one meetings.
