London, UK - AccountAbility, the professional institute for social and ethical accountability, is delighted to announce a series of new appointments to its London office.

She served in Australia's embassies in Mexico City and Hanoi.

She manages the Great Place to Work project at AccountAbility, compiling the annual list of the Best Workplaces in the UK while exploring trends between CSR and HR policy and practices. Previously Samantha worked for Oxfam in Australia on private sector advocacy issues, leading a rights-based analysis of Australia's top-100 corporations and their supply chains.

Mirahv Joseph has been appointed Communications Manager, responsible for AccountAbility’s public relations and marketing. She joins from EIRIS, the Ethical Investment Research Service, where she was Business Development Manager.

Patrick Breen has recently joined AccountAbility as Communications Co-ordinator, responsible for AccountAbility’s website and publications. Patrick previously worked at the Financial Times.

Simon Zadek, AccountAbility’s Chief Executive said: “These new appointments reflect the expansion of AccountAbility’s work over the past year, not just in the UK but also overseas. We continue to help our members to improve their standards of performance in the area of corporate responsibility but we are also increasingly involved in the development of public policy, especially in the areas of trade, economic development and competitiveness.

“The new appointments will help AccountAbility remain at the forefront of the global debate about the impact and direction of corporate responsibility and sustainability in business but also within the public and not-for-profit sectors”.
