SANTA BARBARA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 05/06/09 -- Library Journal named Miller-McCune one of its 10 best new magazines of 2008 today, shortly after the magazine was nominated in the science/technology category of the Utne Reader's 20th annual Independent Press Awards. In the Independent Press Awards, Utne Reader editors nominate magazines that, in their view, represent the best independent journalism in 12 categories. The winners in each category will be announced May 17.
