    THE POSITION:

    Reporting to the Director of Membership and located in Toronto, the Senior Manager of Business Development will:

  • Lead Business Development effort to secure new memberships for CBSR
  • Develop a targeted business development approach and process and lead new relationship development
  • Identify advisory services and program opportunities to appropriate directors
  • Lead a portfolio of accounts in all areas of member service
  • Guide and coach CSR advisors in account management
  • Work with the team to refine, develop and deliver on CBSR’s value proposition
  • Support CBSR projects, events and initiatives as required

    KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

    The Senior Manager of Business Development is responsible for the following key performance indicators:

  • New membership revenue targets as outlined in strategic and operational plans
  • Advisory service and program revenue targets as outlined in strategic and operational plans

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • A post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 5-10 years of exceptional sales experience with proven track record of results, ideally in the private sector
  • Experience managing complex meetings and presentations with senior executives
  • Highly motivated, self starter, able to work independently
  • Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills
  • High ethical professional standards and values
  • French language abilities an asset
